District Council By-Elections 20 August - Witney North Action Day
THE BIG STALL & PM CANVASSING
We regularly organise a stall on the occasion of elections and this time this coincides with the Witney North by-elections. Helping 
with the stand is fun, you get to talk to people and last time we even bumped into Mr Cameron...!
Our local candidate is Brigitte Hickman. When she put herself forward at the general elections for the town elections she lost by a handful of votes so we have a real chance this time to put up a very good fight.
Brigitte is well known in Witney and has created an exciting agenda for change that includes housing, sustainable transport, recycling and collection. We have very few volunteers in and around Witney; if you were able to spare an hour or so we could make a real change! Please sign up and join us on the day (information will be emailed to the volunteers on meeting point and campaign material will be provided).
During the day you can do one or more of the following:
- Knock on doors asking voters if they will vote for Brigitte or sign her petition.
- Put leaflets through letter boxes.
- Give a hand on the stall.
