Why are you standing?
I am standing as I think it is very important for people to have the opportunity to vote Green; particularly so when there is a dominant party in place, reducing the incentive to vote.
The Oxford Labour council has been lazy and complacent on issues which matter such as housing, road maintenance and cycle provision.
The Labour Group needs to be challenged to do a better job for the majority of Oxford people.
I have led both a Woodcraft Folk children's group and staffed at Forest School Camps and believe that outdoor play and camping are important for children's development.
What will you do if you are elected?
I am particularly interested in promoting the towpath from Iffley to Kidlington as a Green, petrol-free highway.
