Plant-Based Councils – why councils and other organisations need to lead the way towards sustainable eating

Linda Newbery is a campaigner with Plant-Based Councils (formerly Feed Our Future), asking councils to commit to plant-based catering for their events as a demonstration of their commitment to tackling the climate emergency. Several councils, including Oxfordshire County Council, Cambridge City and Exeter City, have already passed motions, with more across the UK likely to follow. Why is this so important? How do campaigners cope with criticism? What can you do to support this campaign and to help ‘normalise’ plant-based eating?
