"...a must-visit event for those looking for ethically sourced Christmas gifts in Oxfordshire." Sustrans.

"a great opportunity to find unusual Christmas presents, enjoy delicious food, meet old friends, make new friends, or research your next eco-project!" Green Father Christmas (who will be be making a special appearance).

Just two weeks to go before Oxford's biggest, and longest running, annual indoor fair opens its doors to the public. The 35th Winter Green Fair looks set to break all records with more stalls (100+) than ever before; local small businesses, craftspeople, charities and campaign groups. Also on offer is vegetarian and vegan food and drink as well as live music throughout the day.

Usually over-subscribed, and forced to turn away disappointed stallholders, the organisers are re-configuring the space at the Town Hall to accommodate additional stalls. Says one organiser; "We don't like to turn stallholders away and are doing our best this year to accommodate everyone without compromising the space available for the thousands of visitors that attend."

A further major attraction is world famous author and Oxford resident Philip Pullman who has kindly agreed to open the fair. Also available to answer questions will be former Oxfordshire Green Councillor Larry Sanders, recently returned from helping his brother US Democratic front-runner Bernie Sanders, become the next President of the United States of America!

Due to the expansion, there are still a handful of stalls available: contact Bob Cowley for more information.
