This event has been postponed for a week as it clashed with the South East Green Party's AGM.
This is a hackathon to build on the successful event three weeks ago. You will join a team to improve our technology - our web sites, our volunteer data management and our canvassing systems. This will enable us to work effectively in each district and to prepare across the county for the next General Election and the 2025 elections to Oxfordshire County Council. We need:
- To plan a new web site for Green Parties in Oxfordshire (replacing this one).
- To enter voter data for the new Green Party canvassing system, ready for the May 2024 elections.
- To move our data on members and volunteers from NationBuilder to Action Network.
- To prepare for the county council elections, starting with creating a response with maps to the current consultation on Oxfordshire County Council division boundaries.
Come to one of our briefings to find out about these tasks, pick one and join that team. There will be briefings at 20:00 every evening from Monday 30 October to Friday 3 November, or at 10:00 on Sunday 12 November. Then work with your team on your task, ready to present your achievements later on Sunday afternoon.

Preparation
There is more information on the tech volunteer page. Think about the tasks that interest you and how you can help. We need teams with a range of skills. You don't all need to be experts. Everyone can help. It could be a simple as typing in data from a marked register of who voted in 2022 to advising on web design, data management or computer mapping.
