Oxford’s Annual Green Fair is organised by Oxfordshire Green Party, and is now in its 33rd year. It has grown once again this year and will include nearly 100 stalls making it one of the largest indoor events of its kind in the country. Goods on sale are locally or ethically made and fairly traded, and range from vegan candles and recycled clothes, to art and jewellery and Christmas gifts.

The Green Fair features green technologies, such as solar panels and green roofs, and highlights the work of national and local campaigning groups. Music and entertainment is on offer throughout the day, including a Green Father Christmas. Volunteers staff the café selling delicious home-made vegetarian and vegan foods. The Green Fair is open to the public from 10.30am to 4.30pm, and entry is £1 (20p concessions), children free. Bob Cowley, principal organiser of the Green Fair said:

The Green Fair is a showcase for Green businesses, culture and campaigns - and an event suitable for all ages.  Everyone is sure to find something to entertain them, a special and unique Christmas gift, or just a tasty lunch.
