Today, 19 September, is the day of the Oxford City Council by-election in North ward.
To get an active councillor who will work for you, go out and vote for Sushila Dhall.
When: The polling booths are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Those in the SW of the ward, with electoral numbers starting DB, vote at St. Giles Parish Room on the Woodstock Road. Everyone else (DA and DC) vote at the Oxford centre for Mission Studies, further up the Woodstock Road.
A vote for the Green Party’s Sushila Dhall is a vote to:
- Defend our Green spaces
- Stop ruinous planning decisions
- Stop fracking in Oxfordshire
- Restore democracy to the City Council
- Oppose the cuts—they are not the solution
- Defend the NHS against privatisation
