Greens support the Port Meadown campaign

Following on from the article in the Oxford Mail today,  the Green Party have issued a statement:


The Green Party have supported the Protect Port Meadow campaign from the outset. Given the recent revelations over the Roger Dudman Way development, we felt it worth re-stating this support and reassure the campaign that Green Councillors remain committed to actively challenging officers and leading Councillors over their continued support for this horrendous blot on our historic landscape. Following the recent FOI request which revealed a conservation report that had been hidden from members despite a minimal reduction in height, we now believe there to be a good case for invalidating the planning permission given in February 2012. The pending legal action backed up by an eminent QC adds further weight to our demand that planning permission is invalidated.
