Marston Action Day Saturday 9 April

Come on Saturday and help Al Morris WIN in Marston!

Marston's long-standing independent councillor in Marston - Mick Haines - is standing down. This radically transforms the chances of our target ward candidate Al Morris winning.

It is now a two-horse race between us and Labour. Al was only 90 votes behind Labour last time, and how Mick’s supporters’ votes redistribute themselves is going to be critical. There are sound reasons to believe that Al’s strong local connection and ability to provide an independent green voice for Marston will appeal to Mick’s supporters. We just need to get this message out there.

We’ll be meeting at the Up in Arms, Marston Road, at 10.15am and 1.15pm on Saturday 9^th and helping Al and his team get out leaflets, canvass and convince those who would have voted for Mick to vote for Al.

Timetable:

10.15 meet outside Up In Arms pub, corner of Marston Road and Ferry Road, for welcome and initial briefing.

10.30 canvassing.

12.30 lunch at Up In Arms.

1.30 briefing/update.

1.45 canvassing.

3.45 close, collection of canvass returns.
