Across the country Greens are more popular than they have ever been. In Oxford we have a track record of successful councillors and strong candidates meaning we have a real opportunity to increase our Green voice. We have had an amazing reaction on the ground in St. Mary's and Donnington (former Iffley Fields) wards. We stand a real chance of electing Green candidates Chris Jarvis, Dick Wolff, Rosie Rawle and Lucy Pegg. However, we have only been able to campaign outside in the last few weeks. We therefore need your help to make up ground and help get more Greens elected.
This is our last weekend before the election and we pulling out all of them stops for the final weekend. Please meet us at 10:45 on Saturday May 1st and Sunday 2nd May 2021. To help get Greens elected
This Action Day will be a chance to do that with some canvassing, door knocking and leaflet delivery. It is a real chance to reach voters, inform them about the election and spread the Green message. We have been having a really positive response on the doorstep canvassing with large numbers including former Green Party Lord Mayors: Elise Benjamin and Craig Simmons.
We will meet in groups outside from 10:45am and continue till 6pm. This Action Day will be following Covid safety guidance, thus we will ask you to bring masks and hand sanitiser. If you have any questions about the steps we are taking to ensure Covid safe delivery then please get in touch, on 07899011795.
We will be meeting at 10:45am at 41 Magdalen Road Oxford, OX4 1RB, United Kingdom on both days.
If you cannot come this weekend, we are going out daytime afternoons and evenings from 6 p.m. every weekday. Call the number above to arrange a time that suits you.
