Help us design Oxford's new wards

The Boundary Commission is consulting on new ward boundaries for Oxford City. Thanks to individual voter registration, the voter suppression law brought in by the Tory government, there are wards with 40% fewer people registered to vote. So Oxford needs to change the ward boundaries.

Help us design a better set of wards that reflects your communities in Oxford.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England is consulting on a draft set of wards for Oxford City Council. They need our responses by 13 August 2013.

The have produced a draft of possible ward boundaries, based on the early submissions they received from the council and the Labour Party. Needless to say, the result is somewhat biased. There are only minor changes to wards with Labour councillors, but big changes where you have elected Green or Liberal Democrat councillors.

We have set up a page where you can enter your suggestions of where the new wards should be.
