Oxford Green Party will be launching its City Council manifesto at 10am this Saturday 10th May, with Natalie Bennett, Keith Taylor and many of our local candidates
The Greens have seen a boost in support in recent national polls, coinciding with a decline in support for the LibDems. As a result, the Party is optimistic of becoming the second largest group on Oxford City Council overtaking the LibDems (who have 9 of its 12 seats up for re-election).
The manifesto launch will take place on the 'Euro Bus' - a vegetable-oil powered former London Bus which is traversing Southern England in support of the Greens Euro Campaign. The bus will be parked in Chapel St., near the East Oxford Farmers Market for the launch, and will be in various locations around the city throughout the day. Find its schedule and activities here.
