Greens have reacted angrily to the current consultation Public Attitude Survey on the City Centre being run by the City Council [1] to "help understand the behaviours that residents, business owners and visitors think are acceptable and unacceptable in Oxford city centre".
Says Green Cllr Dick Wolff, "For a Council that claims to be concerned about the environment, the multiple choice survey is silent on any of behaviours that Greens would want to consult residents about. For example, there is a question enquiring about views on 'cyclists behaving irresponsibly' but nothing about other road users who might behave responsibly [2]; such as drivers parking on the pavement, buses leaving their engines running or cars going down restricted streets."
