Come and meet the Green Party Bus in Oxford

Green Party bus with candidates

The Green Party bus is coming to Oxford this Saturday. Coma along and:

  • Meet our MEP, Keith Taylor, and our leader, Natalie Bennet at the launch of the Green Party manifesto for Oxford.
  • Find out about what Green councillors and MEPs will do for you, when elected. You have a question—we have a leaflet.
  • Watch a travelling film show on the moving bus, our new film on fracking.
  • Help us get the message out, by delivering leaflets and knocking on doors asking people to vote for our candidates.
  • Take your children on a bus tour, while stopping off to hand out leaflets from this travelling stall.

The bus is an old Routmaster bus, converted to run on a carbon-neutral fuel, used vegetable oil (chip fat). It is travelling around Southeast England with leaflets, films, Green Party cycle seat covers, and our candidates for the European Parliament; to get our message across to vote for real change, creating a Europe that works for the common good.

On 22 May 2014, the Green Party aims to double the number of Green MEPS representing the people of the South East of England, by re-electing current Green MEP Keith Taylor and adding a second South East Green MEP, Alexandra Phillips. In Oxford we need to get more Green councillors elected to become the official opposition, able to better care for Oxford residents' needs, be it the housing crisis, public services for the vulnerable, local businesses or migrants rights.

Right now, too few people know about what the Green Party will do for them. On Saturday, come along and find out. If you already support us, come along and help us get the message out. There are only 2 weeks until the election.
