This annual event (now in its 37th year!) is a wonderful celebration of all things green. Once again, the Town Hall will be filled with interesting stalls, music, food & seasonal good cheer! It is a great opportunity to find unusual Christmas presents, enjoy delicious food, meet old friends, make new friends, or research your next eco-project!
There are around 100 stalls in three large halls, bringing together the best in ethical ideas, products and people from across the county, with a range of stalls perfect for your Christmas shopping. There's also live music, provided by local musicians, and of course, Green Father Christmas! The café is also a must, with vegetarian and vegan salads, soups and cakes, provided throughout the day.
Each year a special guest is invited to open the Fair at 11am. This year it is the journalist, author and campaigner, George Monbiot.
Tickets on the door. £2 (£1 low/no income), children free.
If you can help on the day, please RSVP below to volunteer for a shift, and contact Kate Robinson .
Come and help!
Do tell your friends and family about it, and use social media to spread the word too. Please also think about coming to help us on the day. If you could volunteer that would be fantastic. It should also be very enjoyable too. Another thing that would really help would be if you brought along something delicious for the café, from salads and quiches, or home-made cakes and biscuits.
If you do want to volunteer or bring food, then please fill in the forms:
