I have lived in Oxfordshire my whole life so I feel I know the area well and understand many of the issues facing the community; I love living in Oxford.
I am a trained teacher and currently work as a trainer for staff within the Early years sector and as an IT trainer for individuals throughout the county.
I spend lots of my time volunteering for Girlguiding, a charity I have been involved in for most of my life and which has given some incredible opportunities.
Why are you standing?
The lack of social justice and equality in the country are painfully felt throughout the county and impacts on our most vulnerable citizens, as a member of the city council I have a louder voice and can influence change.
- Protect services for homeless people, the elderly and children
- Develop more affordable, social and low carbon housing
- Search for innovative ways to reduce pollution in the city centre
