Election Day help needed!
We need lots of helpers on Election Day, Thursday 1 May 2025. Please take time off work and come and help.
In the Local Elections let's show how many votes we can get as we challenge the old grey parties and win real change. We can double the number of Green county councillors in Oxfordshire.
We need people to:
- Telephone or visit green voters to remind them to get to their polling station.
- Sit outside polling stations smiling at voters and writing down voter numbers (telling).
- On Thursday evening, as the ballots are opened in Abingdon, Banbury, Oxford and Witney, tally the votes (so we know exactly where people are voting Green).
- On Friday, watch the election count in Abingdon.
- We also need help in the days before polling day, preparing and delivering eve of poll leaflets.
