I have lived in Woodlands Park, Radley for 30 years and am married with two daughters now in their twenties. After a chemistry degree at Oxford University I helped set up the first kerbside recycling collections in Oxford City and continued working in recycling for many years. I now deliver vegetables for an organic scheme and work as a casual for the County Council Library Service. I also do voluntary work for the Oxford Food Bank.
I have served on Radley Parish Council for 13 years and was elected vice-chairman last year. Recently I have been particularly involved in responding to the Vale of White Horse local plan and preparing a Neighbourhood Plan for Radley. I strongly oppose cuts to vital services like Children's centres and adult social care and if elected would press for them to be re-instated.
