Green Party policies are the most popular with voters in Oxford East, says the independent website Vote for Policies [1].
The website, which prides itself on separating the parties and personalities from the policies, has found that Green policies are popular with 34% of voters, ahead of Labour at 27%, LibDems at 24% and the Conservatives at 9% (see graph).
Results are based on a self-selecting poll of 205 Oxford East electors (as at 3rd December 2019).
Says Green Party Candidate David Williams, "This is a welcome boost for our campaign. But it also highlights our flawed electoral system which encourages tactical voting and personality politics rather than focusing on the issues of most concern to people."
