An evening with Magid Magid, Green Mayor of Sheffield

Magid Magid is one of the most refreshing city councillors in the UK.  As the Green Lord Mayor of Sheffield, he has campaigned to save the trees in Sheffield; stood up against racism, anti-immigration policies, and strongly advocates local devolution and making the UK a republic.  Magid will talk about his life as a Green councillor in Sheffield, and reflect on the last year as Lord Mayor of Sheffield.

This public event will be held in the Long Room (Ground Floor, Oxford Town Hall).

The event will be hosted by Oxford Young Greens - and promises to be lively and interesting. Do come along if you can.

(The event will follow the OGP Business Meeting at 7:30pm - for Green Members only)
