Abingdon housing discussion

Our April monthly meeting includes a speaker from the Senior Board of Greensquare Housing Association, to tell us a bit about Housing Associations in general and how they are the backbone of social housing and general housing needs, and a little of how they work, and who they are answerable to. I am sure he will talk about the infamous “right to buy” and how they are dealing with that. It is an informal talk, not lecture, so please let us know if you would like to come.

Note: the pub is actually closed that night for some refurbishment, but they are letting us use a nice front room. The full bar may not be open, but it MAY be possible to get a few simple drinks. Staff will be there putting things back in shelves in the bar area, but the room we will be in will be clear. Be aware that we may have to go through a sort of tent to get inside, but we will be the only “customers” there that night, and it will look a bit building-site-ish, not like a normal pub for just that night. This is a one-off.
