Green Party Takes Wallingford County Seat In By Election!
SENSATIONAL WIN FOR THE GREENS The Green Party is celebrating after a sensational win in the by-election for the Wallingford division of Oxfordshire County Council on Thursday (28th November). Dr Pete Sudbury was elected with 998 votes, 41% of the total. This was an increase of 30% compared to when the seat was last contested in 2017. The victory gives the Green Party representation on Oxfordshire County Council for the first time since 2017. [Read more]

Oxford East big weekend Part 1.
After a turbulent campaign one of the most important elections of our lifetime we are coming into the final stretch. We have seen time and time again that voters are willing to change their mind with 4000 people coming though the Green Fair and hundreds of volunteers hitting the streets we are on the edge of having a brilliant night in Oxford East. If we can get volunteers to help out we need to be delivering and canvassing across Oxford East there are roles for everyone come along and help out. There will be free food, a large crowd and a good atmosphere. We are also hoping to receive a live update from the Greens at the climate summit during our lunch break.This will a live link where they update on how things are going and we can ask questions. We will be meeting at the Community Hub 41 St Clement's St, Oxford OX4 1AG at 10:30 for training before heading out at 11am. We will then be having lunch and heading out again till 5pm. If you can not make it for all of Saturday we will be having a second half of our big weekend on Sunday 8th December. Warm up, listen to a briefing, then go out campaigning in Goring. 1300 Stop for lunch, chat to fellow Green supporters. 1400 Meet at Pete Sudbury's house, 67 Whitehouse Rd, Woodcote RG8 0SA. Oxford General Election Big Weekend Part 2The election is almost over and Greens have been out across Oxford pushing the Green voice and meeting real interest on the doorstep. We have a chance to do something dramatic in this most unpredictable and turbulent campaign. However we need your help. We will be gathering at 11:00am at the Green Community Hub 41 St Clements Oxford OX4 1AG for a rousing speech by our amazing candidate David Williams. Then heading out across Oxford East.
