Rising Up! info event - Oxford

Please come along to hear about Rising Up!’s strategy for mass non-violent civil disobedience and its first action coming up on 19 November.

Rising Up! is an ambitious project for climate, economic and social justice, committed to nonviolence and compassion, through ‘heart actions,’ ‘art actions’ and civil disobedience. It is rooted in an understanding of how social justice movements of the past have mobilised to progress civil rights, end child labour and secure votes for women. We - a small group of Oxford activists who are involved with Reclaim the Power and other campaigns - want to hear more and have invited the initiators to come tell us about it.
