Oliver Fairey, Green Party candidate for Headington Hill & Northway

Originally from Lincolnshire, I moved to Oxford 2 years ago as an Oxford Brookes Philosophy student, having been a member of the Green party since then. I lived in Clive Booth Student Village, within the Headington Hill and Northway ward. My interests include reading, going on country walks and experiencing new cultures.

For me, public spaces cleanliness, social justice and proper allocation of police resources are some of my priority concerns. Also the protection of local heritage and green spaces, including Headington Hill park and the Green Belt. Open democracy will be encouraged, with a promise to hold open surgeries monthly in accessible areas and making sure that all those living in my ward are given the information needed to contact me with any issues. I promise to move to develop more affordable housing without allowing our environment to be an unnecessary causality of this.
