Say No to fracking in Oxfordshire: a protest

North Oxfordshire is one of the areas which could be opened up to fracking, and so the County Council is holding a themed debate about the implications of that happening.

While the council will not reach any decision at the meeting, this could set the whole tone for the future of fracking in Oxfordshire. We need to show any would-be frackers, as well as the council, that any attempts to frack here will not go down well!

We will be outside the Council Council to welcome the councillors as they go in. The more people are there, the louder our message will be!

There is also an opportunity to speak in the council chamber for 5 minutes.

See the statement by Caroline Lucas, and the others arrested at Balcombe, before the start of their trial (which ended in their acquittal).
