Keeping Warm & Reducing Your Energy Bills

LCEO_warmmeet_webflyer.jpgLow Carbon East Oxford and the Affordable Warmth Network invite you to a free public meeting to learn more about how to keep warm in your home while reducing your energy bills.

Our main speaker is Dale Hoyland, an expert from the National Energy Foundation. We will be discussing various help and support available for heating your home, how to insulate your home and keep your heating equipment in good working order, trends of future energy prices, etc. For more info, please see the flyer.

This event is free and you don't need to book in advance. Just come to Methodist Church Hall at the corner of Cowley Road and June Street (wheelchair accessible through the first side door on Jeune Street). There will be some refreshments and nibbles available.

If you happen to have any friend or neighbours who are elderly or with a child under five, they can really benefit from this talk as there is extra financial support available especially for them. So spread the word! Though it is hard to believe, there are over two million children living in fuel poverty in England. For the full story, click here.
