Hazel Dawe appointed as new OGP Treasurer

Hazel Dawe has applied to take over as Treasurer of Oxfordshire Green Party when Don steps down after 13 years of exemplary service.

Dr Hazel Dawe spent 12 years working in banks in Austria, rising to a senior level. After returning to the UK she served as a Treasurer for the Association of Kent Green Parties in the 1990s. She is now a Senior Lecturer in Law with experience of teaching Contract, Consumer Protection, Sale of Goods and European Law. She has line management experience, including being the Head of Law Programmes at the Greenwich School of Management. She wants to make Party finances accessible to members attending OGP meetings and to encourage local branches outside Oxford to take more responsibility for fundraising and financial management in the long-term.

Hazel was appointed following a vote at the OGP Business meeting in November and will initially cover the role for an interim period until our next AGM.
