We were extremely shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Jeremy Thomas, Head of Law and Governance at Oxford City Council, who was taken ill whilst participating in the Bike Oxford event yesterday (Sunday) and tragically died later that day.
Speaking on behalf of the entire Green Group, Leader of the Oxford City Council Green Group, Cllr Craig Simmons said;
"Jeremy was universally liked. Not only was he excellent at his job, but he was engaging, frequently humourous and friendly. He was the perfect legal officer; helpful, knowledgeable and, when he needed to be, challenging. Our sincere condolences go out to his family."
