A few thoughts for our new Green Party councillors

Just a couple of thoughts of areas that need attention (they're in no particular order) -

A step change in tackling Bio-Diversity loss - see the 'State Of Nature' report for the catastrophic loss of wildlife in the county

An increase in green infrastructure of all kinds

An investment in cycle routes/lanes and public transport

A big effort to plant trees in towns and villages

Tackling homelessness and poor quality housing

Tackling increased flooding and drought risks

Protecting services for the poorest and most vulnerable

Helping to attrac thigh quality,low carbon generating jobs
